Hi there, I just purchased wp eStore cart to replace my simple PayPal cart because of the variation. My products are already in a category and it loads up with the price on the side of the product like this(http://www.clay4all.co.uk)when clicked then you can add to cart. I have deactivated my simple PayPal cart then I created a new test post in eStore then created the post in WordPress then added the “add to cart” eStore shortcode in the WordPress post page.

When I preview from the WordPress post page, it loads up but with the price and the old “add to cart” button on the side. Which don’t work by the way.

When I click on publish and refresh the page it states the link is broken and can’t load.

Could anyone please advise me how I can load up all my products in the say categories and pages they used to be in, and to show a highlighted price for customers to see before they even click on the item. Also how can I load up and publish my products.

Thanks in advance for any support.

Unlike the “simple” cart plugin, eStore uses a database to hold product information. You must migrate all of your product information into the eStore database.

The “proper” but tedious way to do this, is to add your products one by one into the eStore database. A slightly faster way to get started, is to upload a CSV file of existing product information and then “fine tune” the product database entries:

As you fine tune your product database entries, you assign the proper categories to each product. You can then use the WP eStore Browse Products by Category Addon to allow browsing of products by category:
