I’m having problems with a wmv file on pay per view
the file will download and play fine in download mode, but as as soon as i set it as pay-per-view only, all i get is a load of “junk” characters in the browser window
anyone else had this problem?
You are probablly trying to use the “Old PPV” method. As per the eStore documentation, we are only supporting the “New PPV” method.

Please note that the video on the tutorial page refers to the “Old PPV” method. The reason the old method has so many problems is because it is highly depended upon the browser’s media disposition settings.
To use the “New PPV” method, you create a WordPress page with an embedded player for the video. You will then use the APR shortcodes to protect that page. We recommend using Lightbox Ultimate as the embedded player.
