eStore – Thumbnail Images Not Adding

When adding a new product and trying to upload Thumbnail Image URL,although I’m able to select and upload an image (I select Full Size, then click “Insert in to Post”), it simply doesn’t work. No image link appears in the Thumbnail Image URL box at all. So obviously when the product is viewed it shows the No Image thumbnail. Note: I’m able to upload images on my other posts and pages, but just not this one.

Something is conflicting somewhere. Does it only happen for the thumbnail URL? Does the same thing happen with the download file URL field also?

Are you making sure to select the “File URL” option before hitting the insert button? Sometimes, the image upload box doesn’t have the file URL selected by default so make sure to look at the URL before hitting the insert button.

If you upload the image via the standard wp media library then copy the URL and save it, does that work fine?

This sounds like what is happening to me… and, no… using the URL from the media library does not work . I’m using the latest versions of both WP and WP eStore.

So if you copy the Image File URL (the full URL not the attachment page URL) from media library, enter it in the “Thumbnail Image URL” field and save the product. That URL value doesn’t say there when you edit that same product again?
