eStore Thumbnail Image not display

I just purchased this great looking product today.

I am working with (so far) 3 items in the store. They are PDF digital downloads.

Where the image is suppose to be (and I did see it once on the first view of the page) is now just the title of the item. I use FF. IE and Opera, do the same but show an “x” where the image should be displaying.

If I click on the missing image title or “x” box, a secondary window will open showing the image.

I think I have tried every combination including UPLOADING, I have used the image URL (not attachment) in both the Thumbnail Image URL and the Thumbnail Target URL. Singly or in combinations of URL addresses in those two lines – nothing will produce the image itself.

Hi, Please turn off (uncheck) the following option from the eStore settings:

Enable Smart Thumbnail Option

Please check the product display after that and let me know how it goes.

Do you suggest that I square off my thumbnail images so they do not look squashed?

Hi, yeah it would be good if you can re-size your images before you upload them. Usually the smart thumbnail feature can take care of that but on this server the thumbnail script is not working.

I can make the shortcode [wp_eStore_cart_with_thumbnail] work when I have one item for sale (like a black t-shirt) but what do I do when I have many images for the same product (different colors of shirts) how do I connect the correct t-shirt color to the correct text that is in the cart?

Example:

Person has choice of red shirt, black shirt, blue shirt (all the same product #)

Person adds red shirt to cart

The (thumbnail) image needs to be the red shirt, and the text in the shopping cart needs to say “Red Shirt”

Right now the cart thumbnail can only show one image, not multiple.

We currently do not support this capability. eStore product images are not tied to any specific variation. Adding this kind of feature would require a moderate amount of restructuring to the product database. You are welcome to add this to the eStore feature “wishlist.” Particularly since everything is almost crossed off…
