    Hi,

I just installed your plugin on my site and I have an issue.

When I click the download link

    check this image: [http://sflvideos.com/unsecure.jpg]

I can see the path of my link, so it’s easy to find all the files from the same bucket.

My file is directly in the bucket, not in a folder. Is it a problem?

What can I do to hide it?

In digital content details, my link looks like this:

    as3tp://nameofmybucket.s3.amazonaws.com/962.mp4

    I also tried this:

    [as3tps://nameofmybucket.s3.amazonaws.com/962.mp4]

Also.. I tried with a file from a folder in a bucket. When I click the download link, an empty page appear with Quick Time logo and the video (the file) is played on that page instead to be downloaded?

    My site: [www.sflvideos.com]

I wait for your help, thanks!

    Hi,

This is not a problem and is actually normal behaviour. Only applications with allowed access to the Amazon S3 API will be allowed to access the file or files.

Try typing the direct path of the link you say that you can see in another browser and you will find that you will not be able to get access to your files.

This is a good checklist for amazon s3 download link issues:

    Hi Peter,

Yes I’m able to access any of my file with the direct path of my links but only when the files are placed directly in a bucket, without folder. But it doesn’t work when the files are in a folder.

However when I place my videos in a folder, I have to right click the links created by eStore and “save target as” if i want to download the file. If I click with my left button (i use a pc) the link open a blank page and the video is playing there. Is it normal?

It is normal for the browser to play a video or mp3 file if it can play it. This post will explain it in details:
