MemberHi,
The site I’m working on now has problems concerning the checkbox in terms of use. The problem is that when you check the terms of use in itemA and click the “Buy” button in itemB the checkout will still continue even though the terms of use that is checked is on the different item. This is the site I’m currently working on: ***REDACTED***. Any help from the support team will be highly appreciated.

MemberHi,
Can you please do the following tests to see if your theme or another plugin is conflicting with eStore:

Note:
when viewing your page with Chrome’s firebug I noticed that you have a couple of
javascript errors but I’m not sure if they are contributing to this issue:
Uncaught TypeError: Property ‘$’ of object [object Window] is not a function (slideshow.js:1)

ModeratorOriginally, the T&C checkbox only applied to the shopping cart. The original design logic presumed there would only be one T&C checkbox on the checkout page.
Later, the T&C functionality was extended to Buy Now buttons. Due to a combination of the way T&C checkbox processing was originally designed, and the reality that pages can contain multiple Buy Now buttons; the T&C behaviour you are seeing on your site can be expected. For instance, if none of the T&C checkboxes are selected, and you click any of the Buy Now buttons, the T&C error message appears on all the products; not just the one clicked on.
One way to compensate for this anomaly is to add the following “weasel words” to your T&C page: “These Terms & Conditions (T&C) inclusively apply to all products, so indicated, by the presence of a T&C agreement checkbox on all sales pages of this website. Agreement with T&C for any one product signifies agreement with T&C for all products, requiring such T&C agreement, which appear on the same sales page.”

MemberHi,
I would like to request to delete this thread.
Many thanks.

ModeratorAs a compromise, I’ve redacted your site name from the thread. Because that was a “very good question” you asked, we’d like to keep the resolution available for other users.
