eStore Squeeze Page Customers – Last Name not working when middle initial used

I am testing a free PDF download through a squeeze page, which works fine. The issue is that if I enter a middle initial into the name box, such as: “Michael J. Fox”, under the eStore Manage Customers, it lists the customer with a first name of “Michael” and a last name of “J.” There real last name is lost. Is there a way to get the squeeze page or the manage customers to take everything after the first name and use that as the last name?
