About 11% of my customers aren’t receiving the email with their download link. The paypal email goes through, but not the download email. That’s after I verify that it didn’t go to spam, etc. (Probably another 10 percent don’t think to look in their spam folder.) The number could be higher since today I just received an email from a lady who ordered her book a month ago and has been patiently waiting for it. This makes me wonder how many others are “waiting” to get the download. Yikes.
I’ve run a debug and can’t spot the problem (no failure messages) and when I did a test order, the link came through for me.

September 11, 2013 at 11:27 pm #57712adminKeymasterBased on what you just explained, I am pretty sure the issue is not in the plugin. There a lots of reasons for an email to not get delivered. The following post should help you with this issue:
October 11, 2013 at 10:25 pm #57713StarCircleAcademyMemberI realize this is an old message, but one tip that doesn’t seem to be listed on the sheet is to configure WP Estore to send you copies of the emails sent to customers. If YOU get emailed copies, it indicates that the email did go out. Also, since you are being sent copies, you can always re-mail them to anyone who says they didn’t get a copy.
To get copies of outgoing emails, cofigure the “Notification Email Address” on Store -> Settings -> Email Settings

April 18, 2016 at 12:52 am #57715LeaHarrisUEOSMemberThat is a good tip, but doesn’t solve the problem. I purchased this software so I wouldn’t have to send out the files manually, but that is what I have to do anyways because they aren’t getting the e-mail.
April 18, 2016 at 5:32 am #57716adminKeymasterThe email issue is NEVER a problem with this software (because we know 100% that our plugin doesn’t have any email related problems). It is always going to be a configuration related issue on your server or the payment gateway. We can fix any issue in the plugin but we can’t magically fix your server’s or payment gateway’s configuration problem. We can help you identify the issue so you can get it fixed. You have to understand that first.
Lets find out what is causing the email issue on your site.
