eStore – Site cannot be reached after redirecting to thank you page from paypal

Every time Paypal redirects to thank you page after payment i receive error “DNS address could not be found”

I can actually navigate the thank you page ok which is [http://www.hoganebooks.com.au/thankyou]

but when paypal redirects to the page the link shows up like this:

[http://www.hoganebooks.com.au/thankyou?amt=0.01&cc=AUD&cm=ip%253D1.42.109.138&st=Completed&tx=2PV092111V852984P]

Debug file looks like this:

Is the error displayed when PayPal sends your browser to the Thank You page; or when you click on a link, on the Thank You page? Can you provide a screenshot of the error?

The following page should load without any issue.

This is something you need to show to your hosting provider and ask them why that URL is not loading. There is like a firewall or something somewhere that is rejecting those query parameters from paypal (when it shouldn’t).

I managed to resolve the issue by correcting the link. Silly me I realised i had .com.au on the end of the return link insted of just .com
