    Hey Ivy & all, I got the extra eStore shortcodes add-on, installed it to WP, but I’m not clear on whether they should now show in the popup menu with the rest of the shortcodes, or if I just insert the shortcode manually. If I insert it manually it looks kind of funky. Fancy4 seems as if there should be a secondary popup that looks for more info or a abbreviated product description or something. So I don’t know if I botched the install of the add-on, if there is another step I missed, or if there are other steps with the fancy4 through fancy9 that are taken in another part of the program.

    Sorry if I’m missing something obvious, too many sleepless nights lately! Thanks, you guys rock.

    Hi Clark,

    You will need to insert the “extra” shortcodes manually where you want to.

    Send a link to your page containing the fancy 4 and we can take a look to see if there is anything wrong.

    Just in case you were not already aware, the extra shortcodes list can be found here:

    Thanks Peter. Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply on this. It’s been a very busy few days. Here’s the link: [http://www.clarkplaysguitar.com/the-store/]

    I’ve been playing around with the appearance, trying to figure out how I want to set the page up, so the first product uses Fancy3; the second uses Fancy4; and the third uses Fancy1. With the Fancy4 product there should be 2 option dropdowns & some kind of description. On the demo page here there appears to be a short description with a button to go to a “details” page with the Fancy4 shortcode. Any tips on how I can duplicate the way Fancy4 look on the demo page would be great. Thanks!

    Well, here’s an update. I’ve discovered that there is indeed some text on the fancy4 product, and it’s not visible because it is white text on a white background. The second drop-down shows up if I change to a default WP theme, so I’m guessing this issue has to do with my 2010 Weaver theme. I have also noticed that my sidebar cart has grey text on a grey background in the “quantity” box, so that appears empty as well.

    I’ve searched this forum & the Weaver forum & have not yet found a solution. It appears that the 2010 Weaver theme disables the wp_eStore_custom_style.css file, as it shows up as an inactive file in my WP editor. I’m just a guitarist, with nearly zero code-monkey skills, so any tips &/or thoughts are truly appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi Clark,

    It appears that you are actually using fancy5 and not fancy4 for the second item.

    Anyway I can see that it is not displaying correctly.

    I briefly played around with some CSS and I want you to try inserting the following code in the wp_eStore_custom_style.css file:

    .eStore-fancy5 {
    background: black !important;
    height: 440px !important;
    }

    .eStore-fancy5-body {
    height: 250px !important;
    }

    The above should fix the background issue and it will show the other stuff which appeared to be squashed and hidden.

    Hey Peter – you’re right, it is fancy5. The product id is 4, and clearly my perpetual state of “tired” caused me to misread it. No biggie, you saw the issue. Thanks for taking the time to look into this.

    When I go to the plug-in editor & pull up the wp_eStore_custom_style.css file the WordPress editor says “inactive” after the file name over the editing window. Is this something 2010 Weaver is doing? It doesn’t appear to matter, though. I just inserted the code & looked at the page. It looks like your majik code juju fixed it!

    Now I need to figure out how to fix the grey text on grey background in the cart, and how to add a “details” button to fancy5. I’ll poke around the forum & see what I find.

    Thanks for your help, Peter!
