I’ve been running some test purchases (both with Sandbox and live), and I’m having a problem that after the payment is made, the shopping cart is not emptying. When I go to run another test, the previous product is there.
My product page is:

And the checkout page is:

I have a page specified where users are routed after checkout, which is:
[http://www.yourfinancialvictory.com/thank-you-for-your-purchase/]
From what I’ve read, there’s supposed to be some setting to say clear the shopping cart when buyer sees this page, but I can’t find it. It also sounded like this is supposed to happen automatically.
I don’t see any errors in the error log.
I don’t know how you can see the error without running through a transaction, as it is a problem occurring after the payment is made.
yes, this should just happen automatically. Are you using the PDT feature on your site?

I don’t think the PDT is fully working on your site. When you land on the “Thank You” page, do you see the download links and other transaction related message from this plugin on your thank you page?
I am having a similar problem, shopping cart not emptying after purchase. I am being returned to the thank you page but it is displaying the wrong memebership level.
Here is what is being displayed, notice the free membership, but in eMember, it reflects a paid memebership.
I have checked the PDT settings and think they are all correct.

I am not understanding the relationship with “cart empty” and “membership level”. The membership level will be upgraded as soon as PayPal sends the IPN notification to the plugin (it can take a few minutes sometimes).
