eStore – shipping information before purchase

I know the plug-in was specifically designed for selling digital products, but I think it is almost perfect for physical products too.

Since I want to sell both digital and physical products, I need a customization for those products I have to ship to customers. The thing is I don’t live in the US and I can’t use the paypal profile-based shipping option, moreover due to high shipping cost I can’t ship certain kind of items everywhere, but only to certain regions.

What I need is an option on each product setting page which allows me to choose where the product can be shipped. In the shopping cart customers should then be forced to fill their shipping adress before check out. If they choose a country which is not available for a product they put in the shopping cart, they can’t check out.

I know it’s a big customization, but I need to know if it would be possible.

Hi, eStore won’t be able to do what you are after unfortunately. It will be a lot of customization like you guessed and we won’t add it unless a lot of users are asking for it:
