eStore – Serial key – Automatic/recurring payments – New serial not sent

I am trying to use the Serial Key feature combined with the recurring payments feature to send a customer who opts for recurring billing to automatically send a new serial monthly. It appears the transaction only happens on the PayPal side and neither a new serial nor a new receipt from eStore is sent. Is this by design?

Hi Matt, It won’t send a key monthly because the following is the desired behavior.

A serial key is issued only once per transaction (even if it is a recurring charge).

A receipt will be sent to the customer from PayPal automatically after every recurring charge.
