Tagged: APR
Hello,
after buying access to the “secret” member content, the user can see the hidden content. this works. But also the source link where it is coming from is visible through the source text. But that is exactly what we dont want and why we bought wp eStore – because this way it can be copied, sent and used as long and by as many persons as wanted.
Please let me know what i can do about it
Thank you & best regards
here is the code we use:
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=5 status=unexpired]
secretlink.com
[/wp_eStore_APR]
[wp_eStore_APR expiry=0 status=expired]
[wp_eStore_buy_now_button id=8]
[/wp_eStore_APR]
First, please review the documentation of how the APR shortcodes work.
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/using-wordpress-permalinks-as-digital-products-apr-1217
What you are protecting is access to the page, that contains content, embedded between the APR shortcodes.
If the content within the APR shortcode contains an external link; it becomes visible because, it “counts” as content the user is entitled to see. If you do not want the user to have knowledge of what the link is; you should select a more appropriate eStore protection mechanism.
Just what is the protection scenario you are trying to accomplish?
