MemberI use the SagePay module from the Payment Gateway bundle and it is not asking for the billingState required for USA orders by SagePay.

ModeratorHi, there is a field in the collect details form where you can enter the state. Is it showing on your site?

MemberNo, there is no state field and I have been unable to find where the form is generated. On the ‘collect details’ page there is a shortcode. Where is the [wp_pg_process_order] short code module saved and is this what I need to edit?

ModeratorYou don’t need to edit the shortcode. The field should appear by default. Please provide a link to the page where I can add a product to the shopping cart and test the checkout process.

MemberHi the link to the shop is [http://shop.software-partners.co.uk]
Most of our US sales are for a Latin translator and to simplify the shop for the bulk of our customers this is hidden here [http://shop.software-partners.co.uk/blitz-latin] and directly accessed from the Latin website. This is the address we realy need to fix.
There is also a tax problem for non EU sales and I guess I will have to wait for a software change to fix this or use another payment gateway like PayPal.
Kind regards

ModeratorI just checked the page source. The state field is actually there. But it’s showing as “County”. Have you selected a language in the payment gateway bundle settings? If so have you made any modifications to the language file in question?

MemberI am fairly sure I haven’t changed it. I have just entered a valid two letter state code and real zip code and it still came up with missing/malformed billingstate. I don’t think I am going to be able to get this software to work with sagepay for US sales as I need to have a way to provide a drop down list of 2 character state codes for the US without everyone else having this choice. I will think about other options over Christmas. Thank you for help.
Kind regards

MemberI entered a valid 2 digit US state and valid zipcode but it still came back with malformed – billing state required. I assume changing the language file from county to state would not help as the underlying variable would not change?

ModeratorWe will need to take a closer at your site to see what is happening. I have sent an email to your registered email address for site access. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
