Tagged: estore affiliate, merchant fees
I have a product set up with revenue sharing of 50% on a product that costs $100. Based on this, the author should get $50 and the “house” should get $50. Where do the merchant fees get charged? So for example, if the merchant fee is 2%, does that mean the author gets $50 and the house gets $48 after the fees are paid? Or does the fee get split the same as the revenue?
WP eStore doesn’t account for merchant fee (different payment gateways have different fees). Please apply the revenue sharing percentage accordingly to account for merchant fee. So for your above example, you can use a value of 49% sharing to account for the merchant fee.
