Hi:
On my site at [https://blogbillionaire.com], I had previously set up eStore to have both Paypal and manual checkout. I therefore used the Order Management Add-on to be able to make orders show “paid status” after customers paid me via bank transfer.
My doubts are:
1. For manual checkout I understand the shortcode for the buy now button would be like this [wp_eStore_buy_now_for_specific_gateway id="1" gateway="manual"]
.
But if instead of a button I want to hyperlink some text that says, “For manual checkout, click here”, how do I apply the short code alternative?
2. When customers now pay me now, there are two types of products I have. One is a one-time purchase and the other is a monthly subscription type purchase. Will the manual checkout/order management arrangement also work in the case of subscription payments?
3. I have on my site both WP-eStore and WP-emember. Currently the membership has just one paid-level and payments are made via eStore (that is the subscription product mentioned above). Should I now integrate both WP emember and WP eStore with Mailchimp, or will the integration already set up in eStore be enough?

The following feature allows you to create text links for selling an item:
Manual checkout is for when you want to manually collect the money from a customer. How are you going to manually collect money on a set interval from a customer?
In most cases using mailchimp for one is good enough. WP eStore mailchimp adds the users to a list after they purchase an eStore product. eMember will add the user to a list after they hit the register button.
