Hi, this is my first time building a site using your eMember 9.1.0 and eStore 7.4.1. Initially I am just selling yearly membership to my premium content using “buy now” button of the eStore to paypal checkout. Down the road I plan to expand to sell digital download ebooks as well.
My test site: [http://staging4.3treasurestudios.com/]
My “buy now” button that has problem: [http://staging4.3treasurestudios.com/join-us]
According to the instruction on the following page:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-instant-digital-product-delivery-499
Step1.I have Make a post-payment return page (thank-you)
Step2: add message to thank-you page
Step3: I have Enable PDT feature in the PayPal profile
Step4: I have enabled “Auto Return” option too
Step 6: I have enable the “Thank You” page display feature in eStore by checking the “Enable Transaction Result Display” in the settings (Post Payment Process Settings) menu of WP eStore
I don’t know how to do the Step5: not clear how to get the PDT Identity Token
PROBLEMS: Not able to get back to my site, instead getting following error message:
===================
Not Found
The requested URL /webapps/staging4.3treasurestudios.com was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

My 2nd problem is: for people who want to sign up for free membership, they get a email link for verification after initially fill out some fields on the registration form. The problem is it takes almost 5-10 minutes before getting that email when I do testing. Is there any way to make the email show up faster?
Thank you so much, you video and support instruction helps tremendously. Really appreciate it!

- Log into PayPal.
- Profile & Settings
- My Selling Tools
- Website Preferences
- Turn ON Payment Data Transfer (PDT)
- SAVE the settings
- Verify that you receive an email from PayPal.
- Navigate back to the Website Preferences page.
- Scroll back down to the PDT section. Underneath the Yes/No radio buttons is your PDT token.

SMTP sending delays are a function of your hosting provider’s policies… 8(
January 20, 2017 at 11:41 pm #74980adminKeymasterYou will only get 404 error when you have specified an INCORRECT page URL in the plugin’s settings and/or product configuration.
Make sure to first go to the thank you page from a browser where you are not logged in as an admin (so you know that this is a publicly available page). Many users keep the thank you page in a draft status which is wrong (because ONLY admins can see a draft page while they are logged in). So later that same page will cause a 404 error if viewed from a different browser.
If the thank you page renders correctly, then copy the URL from the browser and paste it in the plugin’s “Return URL” settings field (don’t type it). If you are using a product specific return URL then update the product specific return URL configuration also.

You guys rocks! Thank you so much!
January 31, 2019 at 6:23 am #74982BThomsonMemberI think that maybe PayPal has moved on and your instructions are now out of date. I can’t follow any of your steps from above and if you search for “PDT” in paypal, it returns nothing at all.
So have I gone mad, or do you need to revise your instructions? (no idea really!!!

February 1, 2019 at 1:56 am #74984adminKeymasterIf you search for how to enabled PDT in PayPal, you should get PayPal’s instructions.
