    Hello,

I would like to use the Receipt Creator plugin.

    Is it possible to modify:

    the $formatted_date (format and language)

    header: left and right area

    footer: left and right area

    customer informations

In the admin area, it could be great to have a link (like “View”), to send the receipt.

So it could be a very nice receipt…

What do you mean by the following?

    header: left and right area
    footer: left and right area

The receipt creator addon does keep records of all the receipts created under the “Issued Receipt” tab of this addon.

it could be interesting to have 2 (customizable) areas in the header and in the footer…

Is there a way to change the order that you view receipts? i.e. Can you make to when you click on “issued receipt” that the most recent receipt would be first rather then last making you have to change pages.

You can click on the “ID” column to sort it so it shows “recent” ones at the top.

I think you have a good point for showing the recent receipts in the top of the list. So I have made the change in this addon so by default it shows the recent ones at the top of the list. You can download a new copy of the receipt creator addon now to see this change.

It just exports the data that you see in the “issued receipt” table. The actual purchase details are inside the receipt. So you have to open the PDF file to see the details. You have to understand that it exports the details of the receipt (not what the receipt contains inside it).

but that creates a huge problem for tax management as well as general business financial management.

lets say i have 1000 sales a month.

first – how do i see it? how can i measure it? what is the total amount i got from all products sold?

how can i know how much i made on January, February March and so on?

“what you don’t measure you cant manage” right?

secondly – the usual report sheet for tax report contains at least the receipt number and amount paid, usually also date of purchase and customer’s name.

then it is very easy to create tax reports as well as management report.

i hope we are not expected to open each pdf receipt and write down the amount.

i am sure that a program sophisticated as ESTORE can export this convenient excel sheet.

You look at the stats menu of eStore. The stats tells you how much you made during any time period (you can select date range to get any kind of sale data you want). I can also look at exporting the stats data to a CSV file if that will help. You can also export the orders data from the orders menu of the plugin (and the manage customers menu of the plugin).

Why are you going to touch the receipts? Companies don’t go through tens of thousands of receipts each month to find out their sales number. They just use the stats/reporting feature of the system they are using to get the sales numbers.

You can also get the sales stats from the payment gateway. For example, PayPal will let you export all the sales data between any date range (so for any month).

    ok, thanks.

having the stats data on the csv file, including receipt no. date and the sum of purchase would be great and solve the whole thing.
