February 4, 2013 at 2:46 pm #8489monochrome MemberIn order to fullfill (german) legal requirements I need to display the tax amount on each invoice. How can this be done using receipt creator? I’m using the latest version of the plugin (just downloaded today) February 4, 2013 at 10:14 pm #53568Peter MemberHi, The tax is included in the total price which appears at the bottom of the receipt. In its current state the addon does not have any options to display tax separately. Do you want it to show sub total, tax, shipping and then the Total? February 6, 2013 at 12:31 pm #53569monochrome MemberFor a start it would be enough to display the amount of tax contained in the total to fulfill my countries legal requirements. So, a line that says “The Total Amount of (total) contains (tax_amount) of taxes. The other thing is that I need an invoice-number that is incremental, i.e. last invoice-#+1. Each german customer will have these same problems if they want to use the plugin. Haven’t looked yet, but would I be able to achieve the above by using an email instead of a generated pdf? February 6, 2013 at 11:05 pm #53570admin KeymasterWe have updated the receipt creator addon so it will now show the tax amount in the receipt too. You don’t have to use the receipt creator addon to create a receipt with info you want. The purchase notification email can serve as a receipt if you include all the details there. eStore has lots of email tags that you can use to customize what info you want to include in that notification email (thers is one for an incremental number too): http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-shortcodes-and-functions-reference-460 February 7, 2013 at 10:07 am #53571monochrome MemberOK, thanks. I went for for the e-mail solution for now as the pdf creation also causes an error (corrupt file). February 7, 2013 at 11:09 am #53572Peter MemberIn the effort to improve the addon, can you please tell us exactly what that error is and what steps you took to reproduce it (if possible)? October 7, 2017 at 5:45 am #53573clearscopedesign ParticipantHello – Could you please tell us how we could change the Tax line in the generated receipt PDF’s to instead say VAT? Thank you! October 8, 2017 at 1:17 am #53574admin KeymasterEdit the following file of the receipt creator addon: eStore-receipt-creator/create-receipt-pdf.php Search for the following keyword in that file. Replace it to what you want: Tax: October 9, 2017 at 5:37 am #53575clearscopedesign ParticipantPerfect, thank you!!!
