Is it possible to have products visible from a certain date till a certain date?

No, there is no way to specify a date but you should be able to achieve a similar result (take products offline later) by using the category display option. Have a read of the following post:

So you basically show products from a particular category and when you want to take a product offline, you just remove that product from that category.
