I’m testing out my store and buying process. When the store automatically sends the e-mail with the download to a gmail account it displays a warning. The warning says “This message may not have been sent by: myemail@gmail.com” I realize this is happening because it isn’t truly being sent from my e-mail address but that is the reply-to address. Is there any way to prevent this warning? I can certainly imagine it scaring some customers.
Use an email address that is on your domain. For example, create an email address like the following on your domain and then use that as the from email address value:
You can easily create email addresses like the above via cPanel on your site. Optionally you can then use an email forwarder to forward any email coming to that address to the gmail account.
