eStore – pick-up from store option

Hello,

I’m trying to find an answer to this challenge, could you please help me find a relevant solution ?

Context: For this project, I use the manual gateway checkout as my client delivers physical goods and he needs to validate each order before sending an invoice via email to his clients to get paid before shipping the order.

He needs to be informed when a customer wants to pick-up his physical order directly from the store and pay cash at this moment.

I tested two eStore solutions:

A) Use the pick-up from store option in the general settings. But in this case when the client clicks the checkbox and get the message (no shipping fees will apply for this order), the checkbox does not remain checked, which is confusing for the client as he may be tempted to re-check the box… Other problem, no notification is sent to the seller mentioning that the client has checked this option when the confirmation order is sent to the seller. Is there a simple code tweak or could you implement that?

To mimic the previous option I transformed a input text field from the manual gateway form into an input checkbox offering a pickup from store option. When I tested it, I received the order mentioning the pick-up option label but the value of the checked or unchecked state is always empty, Could you help me with the form code in this case ?

I think your opiton “A” is better and easier. I have added that option into the plugin. Please check the update that I sent to your email.
