MemberHello,
I’ve configured the plugin following your instructions and I am now trying to test the purchase f a digital MP3 (not for download, just for online listening).
I have set up a developers Paypal account for some sandbox testing (I have done this other times) but when trying to perform a “test buy” I get message from Paypal saying that there is some technical fault.
Checking the Paypal URL I see: code=AMOUNT_ERROR
sandbox.paypal.com/webapps/shoppingcart/error?flowlogging_id=bedb30607071a&code=AMOUNT_ERROR&mfid=1520855691940_bedb30607071a
I have read some online info on what might be the problem and I see it may be caused by the use of a coma o simple dot for the decimal places…. tried changing these several times with no luck,
I hope you can help.
Let me know if you need any other information.
Thank you very much

ModeratorI have set up a developers Paypal account for some sandbox testing…
If you do not use a sandbox account, and (also) do not have the plugin in sandbox mode; do you still get the error?
Please share a link to the page where you have the estore’s buy button so we can inspect the values you are using for the product.

MemberHello,
Yes, I did check with Paypal sandbox deactivated (both account and plugin) but I still get the same error.
Here is a link where you can test:

Let me know if you need any other information and thank you in advance

KeymasterLooks like you have entered a comma in the price. Currently your item amount looks like 15,5 which is incorrect. PayPal doesn’t accept comma in the amount field. Enter the price amount as 15.5

MemberHello, sorry for the delay, I have been working on other projects…
I have tried changing the price to 15.5 using a dot instead of a coma.
I have also tried rounding down the price to 15 with no luck on either scenarios.
Could you check again the link I sent you?

KeymasterPlease uncheck the sandbox option in the settings then enter your real paypal email address in the paypal settings. Does it show any error in the live mode?

KeymasterThe currency code value you entered in the settings was incorrect. You entered Eur. The correct code for PayPal is EUR. This is shown as an example next to the field.
