MemberApparently in this time frame, we just received a three item order that didn’t charge shipping, yet when I tried to do a three order transaction I’m prompted for a zip code.

KeymasterPlease turn off the following option in your profile base shipping settings:

MemberThe good news is that I am being prompted for a zip code for orders again. The bad is that it is resolving shipping to $0.

Keymasterokay as long as the zip code is getting triggered, it is good (it means PayPal is recognizing that profile shipping needs to be applied).
Next, I would recommend you to check your rates table to make sure you do have a valid amount for the range. Without a rates table PayPal doesn’t know what shipping to apply.
If you have done that already then you may need to contact PayPal support and have them take a look at your profile to see why the correct shipping rate is not applying after the zip code is entered.

MemberSo I would have to set rates rather than let PayPal determine this via zip codes? Alrighty, I will try to come up with a decent table and work from there, thanks!

MemberI am setting up the eStore shopping Cart on my website. I have “Use PayPal Profile Based Shipping” option check off and have the shipping rates set up with Paypal. The buy now button asked the customer to enter their zip code. The add to cart button does not ask for the zip code and no shipping costs are being added to the purchase. How do I correct this so the customer is charged shipping for their purchase? [http://www.grandmachandra.com/products/light-body-activation-oils/]

ModeratorHi, are you still having this issue? I just did a checkout on your site using one of the “Add to Cart” buttons and when I went to the PayPal payment page I was asked to enter a zip code. So it seems to be working fine for me.
