    Hi,

The redirection from my checkout page to the paypal payment page is not working using Internet Explorer 8, I end up on the home page of paypal. The redirection is working using Firefox and Chrome.

Here is my sale page : [http://www.debuter-la-course-a-pied-en-toute-serenite.com]

    Thanks

I don’t have a copy of IE 8, to verify the issue. But it does work with IE 11. Microsoft officially ended all support for IE 8, including security updates; on January 12, 2016.

Because Microsoft is no longer issuing security patches for IE 8, it may not make sense for us to fix any compatibility issues with IE 8; other than to acknowledge/confirm the issue exists.

IE8 should not have any issue with this plugin. You can do a test by going to our products page (we are using this same plugin). Just add an item in IE8 then click checkout to see if the PayPal checkout page renders correctly

I don’t know if your particular install of IE8 has some kind of issue or not. I did a test myself and that works fine. There is really nothing there in terms of code that can cause any issue in any browser.

Besides IE8 has been retried by Microsoft. That means no one is really going to use it going forward. So not 100% sure as to why you would be concerned abut that browser to begin with?
