Tagged: paypal encrypted button
Was viewing the source of my buy now page, and notice that my payal address is clearly visable to spiders/harvesters etc.
If I use this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/rot13-email-protection/
will that ruin the paypal? Is there away around this? Can we encrypt? etc…
<input type="hidden" name="business" value="paypal@yourdomain.com" />
Cheers!
GG
Remember, you can use your “Secure Merchant ID” instead of the plain email address which should take care of this concern.
Regarding the encryption plugin… I have never used it so I can’t really tell you if it will ruin something.

Where is that? A setting in your plugins? or in Paypal?
TY
This setting is in Paypal. Once you have your Secure Merchant ID you will need to put this in the Paypal email address field in the eStore.
