eStore – PayPal charges tax even though my products don't

I’ve searched the forum and haven’t found out why this is happening… I have both digital files and physical products to sell. I’ve only set up and sold the digital products so far. In California, I believe that digital products aren’t taxed, and I’ve set up my products accordingly. However, PayPal seems determined to collect tax. I don’t know what to do to keep this from happening. I don’t want to launch and have to refund dozens of customers.

Do you have the tax for the product set to 0? “Blank” does not equal zero.

Have you configured tax in your PayPal account profile?
