Tips and Tricks HQ Support Portal › Forums › WP eStore Forum › eStore – only shortcode showing on page
Hi, My main problem is that whenever I use shortcodes on a page or post & then publish I just get the shortcode on the page. I have tried putting the shortcodes in both the visual & the HTML editor, but only ever get the shortcode, but not the product.
I have added only 2 digital products to my store so far, and 2 categories. So, the shortcodes I am using are only for product ID 1 or category ID 1 for now.
I have tried these codes, that I got from your site.
[wp_eStore_category_products:category_id:1:end] to try and add just one category list to a page.
To try & create a individual product page I tried this;
[wp_eStore_product_details id=1 info=”name”]
[wp_eStore_product_details id=1 info=”description”]
[wp_eStore_product_details id=1 info=”price”]
[wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=1]
To try & use a fancy display for a category page I used this;
[wp_eStore_category_products_fancy id=7 style=1 type=1]
None of these codes create any type of product on my site, they just display the shortcode.
Could anyone please explain what I am doing wrong?
Thanks
Hi, You may have a plugin or theme that is breaking WordPress’s shortcode functionality so it is worth doing the following test:

Can you please post a link to your site?
Did you install the plugin according to these instructions?
