Hi,
I just installed your plugin on my site and I have an issue.
I added a product to test the plugin and when I click the “add to cart” button, I pay for the item and emails from PayPal are sent to the customer and I receive a copy too almost instantly in my merchant email account. The link appear normally on the “Thank You” page too and the file can be downloaded. (I store my files on Amazon S3).
However, the email with the download links is not sent to the customer and not send on my personal email.
I tried the debug option.
All files are empty except one which is successful, is it normal?

In admin functions, I’m able to send an email to the customer, it works very well.
I don’t use PayPal sandbox
So.. how can I fix it?
My site: [www.sflvideos.com]
Thanks!

July 24, 2013 at 1:49 pm #44129mms02MemberHi, I am experiencing a variation of this same problem. The site is:
kfvevents.info (a cloned site used for testing).
It’s using the latest WP and I’m also running Thesis 2.1 (just upgraded from 2, it hasn’t solved or changed my issue).
There are both manual and Paypal checkout methods enabled. What is happening is when I use the Manual method then the customer receives the correct, manual, details in an email, including the download link etc. However, if Paypal is used (sandbox or real) then the receipt acknowledgement from Paypal is sent almost instantly, but no emails seem to come from eStore.
I know that emails can be sent as I’ve used your plugin to test email sending and it works ‘out of the box’. I’ve worked through the various checklists and, barring the obvious step I may have skipped, can find nothing wrong.
I’ve set the site up on 2 different shared host servers and the behaviour doesn’t change.
Can you suggest where to go next please?

July 25, 2013 at 12:28 am #44130wpCommerceModeratorHi, I just checked the log file on your site and it seems to be failing for the following reason:
FAILURE :Funds have not been cleared yet. Product(s) will be delivered when the funds clear!
Please take a look at the following post which explains how you can resolve this issue:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/reasons-for-a-pending-paypal-payment
Once you fix your PayPal account so that the funds automatically clear, the plugin will start to work as usual.
When you are not having the fund being in a pending state and the plugin is sending the email but it is not arriving in your inbox, then check the following checklist:
July 25, 2013 at 9:23 am #44131mms02MemberOK, thanks for your reply. I noticed the ‘Funds not cleared yet’ message. However, I actually think that this is because I was using the site with a Paypal sandbox account, and I need to do some more setting work there. So I may have not given you the full picture!
Therefore, I switched back to the ‘real’ site and made another purchase using real money, this time against a real Paypal account, which does process funds immediately. Again I get the acknowledgement from Paypal but no emails via the plug in. So, I don’t think that the plugin is working as usual. I will again go through the checklist but I’m running short of idea. For information, here are the two log entries:

July 25, 2013 at 11:39 pm #44132adminKeymasterAccording to the debug data, it looks like eStore couldn’t go through the full set of post payment processing tasks. So it never got to the email sending stage. Now, when I go to your site (the one you shared above) and check the debug I see different debug data. Something is not right here… I have sent you an email to get access to the site so I can check this.
