Hello,
I am currently offering a coupon to all of my users on the first purchase. Is there any way to restrict the coupon to only allow it to be used once by each user?
For instance – Fred uses it on his purchase. Then he tries to use it on his second purchase but is unable to because he has already used it once.
However, Mary is still able to use the coupon on her first purchase because she hasn’t used it yet.
As of right now, the Dynamic Coupons addon allows you to create a coupon, but the coupon is ONLY available one time to one user. I need it to be available one time to each user.
Thanks!

They have to be logged in to use the coupon anyway and it’s only available on certain products but the product is a digital software that has 2 variations – windows and mac.
Our goal is to make it so they can only use this coupon once. So if they get sneaky and try to buy use the coupon on the 2nd version of the software, it will say “you’ve already used that coupon” or something like that.
I know it’s not foolproof even if done that way, but we’re losing money by people being crafty and using the coupon more than once. They’re basically stealing a second version of the software.
Is that possible?
Let me know!

You shouldn’t deal with something so sensitive with just a coupon. Create a new product with the discounted price. Then you can put that product on a page that is protected using the membership plugin and then you can control who can see that product (the discounted priced item) and purchase it. You can protect the page against a membership level or against a particular user ID so only that user can see and interact with it.
