Hi:
I recently changed my entire site to AMP using the AMP for WordPress plugin. Now both the laptop and mobile versions of ,y site are on AMP since in AMP I am using the Standarsd Option.
But it has affected the eStore buttons to process payments. Firstly, the page by default shows the red links saying “You must agree to the Terms & Conditions!” even if nothing is cliked or not. Secondly, after clicking the Terms & Conditions Box, it keeps saying “Submitting … but does not proceed further.
I has the same problem with Gravity Forms but they gave me a small extra plugin to make AMP for WordPress work with Gravity. Is there something you have fromyour end to make eStore work wit AMP pages?
Thanks and regards,
Shobha Ponnappa
July 12, 2021 at 8:34 pm #83337adminKeymasterLooks like some JavaScript code is not getting output on the page. I will need to investigate this more. Which AMP plugin are you using on your site and with what configuration? Some configuration outputs minimal stuff so it misses the Javascript code. Also, I would like to look at what you got from Gravity forms so I can get some clues.

July 12, 2021 at 9:08 pm #83344Shobha_PonnappaParticipantThe specific mini plugin for Gravity Forms is at: https://gist.github.com/westonruter/b2554073461707a88057bb86b6b603d6
I initially tried this pluginbut had to remove ajax=”true
from the Gravity Form shortcode and change the confirmation of the form from “tet” to a separate “thank uou page”.Now the Gravity form first says “Submitting …” and then it shows “Redirecting …” and goes to the correct page. And the notifications to admin and subscriber arrive in the right email boxes correctly. It also sends subscriber to mailchimp correctly.
Thanks and regards,
Shobha
July 13, 2021 at 10:17 pm #83345adminKeymasterBasically, they just say to redirect to another page that is not AMP. So you won’t be able to use the terms and conditions feature with the buy now button (because that terms feature require jQuery code to be run on the page).
Use the add to cart button on the AMP page. (the add to cart button will add the item to the cart). You can then use the following option in eStore which will redirect to the cart page that isn’t an AMP page.
The cart will have the terms and conditions checkbox.
