eStore – not receiving product variation details in notification Email

Hi Support

I hope all is good with you.

My problem is in relation to a product with variations.

When a purchase is made, my notification email does not tell me which variation was purchased.

I am using version 7.1.3 or WP eStore.

Apologies if this has already been addressed. I haven’t seen anything exactly like my issue though member mhagenow may be experiencing a similar problem.

The product is a “Buy Now” item. I use these quite a bit so I can have unique “thank you” pages for each item which is useful for FB tracking (conversion pixels) etcetera.

Here is an excerpt of the email template I use for notifications.

Seems like we have had a sale

The item details are;

Product Name: {product_name}

Product name – Variation:{product_details}

Product ID: {product_id}

The sale was made to {first_name} {last_name} ({payer_email})

The “Thank You” email has been sent and the artwork email from {first_name} {last_name} should arrive soon.

Here are their Delivery Details;

Please post a link to your product page so I can make sure the variation details are getting added in the cart (when the user is purchasing the item).

What do you see in place of the {product_details} email tag?

Looks like you have some JavaScript error on your page which is preventing the plugin from being able to add the variation data.

The following post will help you understand what I am talking about:

Fix that error on your site then our plugin will start to work automatically.
