If checked the plugin will send an email to the buyer with the sale details. If digital goods are purchased then the email will contain encrypted download links for the downloadable products.

Most likely, your PayPal IPN is not working. Please enable debug in eStore so we can see what is going on. The following two posts will help:

I have the same problem. On the Thank you page I can only see the shortcode exactly as I wrote it.
The buyer does not receive any text in the email sent out and therefore no downoad link either. I tried the debug but it says success all the way ?
Can you please paste the exact shortcode you are using on the thank you page? There is most likely a typo in it. If you paste it here we will be able to see it.

In addition can you please paste the output of the ipn_handle_debug.log file.
