I am interested in adding a check box for a non distribution agreement before customers can download items. Is there any functionality for this?

No, there is no option to agree to terms before downloading because when you click on the link it will start to download the file.

It may not be suitable for the setup you require for your project but you probably should get the terms agreement before making the purchase. Some people may not like it if you tell them that there are *terms* after they make a payment. You can have multiple terms and conditions agreement under your main “Terms and conditions” page.

Actually what I was looking for was right there all along on the general settings page. It’s the terms and conditions checkbox and it’s perfect. Thanks!!
