Hi,
I was doing some routine testing before launching a new product and glad I did as I ran into an issue that hasn’t come up before (I’ve been using eStore without any problems for some months and it’s handled dozens of smooth transactions).
I tried purchasing a downloadable product using a credit card on Paypal (no Paypal login) and everything went ok, payment processed (not pending), redirected back to my Thank You page, but no email containing the links to download the product. I have read several related posts on the issue, tested my WP smtp email, installed and successfully tested the “email tester plugin”, and the WP install’s email is working fine.
Additionally, when I checked the “Manage Customers” field, no customer ID or name has been recorded, and the transaction is simply not there. I thought perhaps it was a conflict due to using emails with the same hostname, so I tried another transaction with a completely unrelated email address and I got the same results.
Can you help?!
Thanks
Marc

July 26, 2013 at 7:41 am #56827marcand76MemberI think I have cracked it – I just deactivated these two plugins & it now works fine:
– eStore Dynamic Coupons
– eStore Order Management Addon
I made a third transaction with these plugins disabled and the transaction processed correctly. There must be a conflict in one of these plugins.
July 27, 2013 at 12:01 am #56828adminKeymasterHi, Those addons shouldn’t cause an issue. Can you try downloading fresh copies of those addons and the eStore plugin now then do another test?
This time when you do the test, please enable debug so after the test you can share the log file data so I can check it. The following post will tell you how to enable debug:

July 30, 2013 at 1:49 pm #56829marcand76MemberHi, I re-installed fresh copies of those addons and re-activated them. Repeated the purchase process and still get the same result – no email & no record of transaction. As soon as I disable those two plugins the problem goes away.
I haven’t had the chance to install a fresh copy of estore – I’ve made a few changes to the code so I’ll need to identify them and make a back up first. I’ll get to it in the next few days and try again.
Thanks!
July 31, 2013 at 12:47 am #56830adminKeymasterI sent you a copy of the eStore plugin that I want you to try when you get a chance. Please check your inbox.
July 31, 2013 at 6:21 am #56831marcand76MemberI installed the updated version of eStore and repeated the process – this time everything worked fine. Thanks for your excellent support.
