    I have been using eStore and Affiliate for several years and LOVE how it works for the majority of my clients. I have recently signed a new client, though, who has some special needs. I’m hoping that you or a reader will be able to adapt eStore to meet his needs. I did email for support, but they said it would take more time than they had available right now, so if you’re a programmer, this post may be for you. I will list the features below, including some comments that are from my client.

    MUST: Allow for tiered pricing structure, specifically, Distributor, Wholesale, and Retail — Tiered prices are needed for different trade / discount levels. Again, since I often vary by product line, we can have semi-significant part number codes carry the information as needed, and rely on a ‘code’ or key to drive volume or trade discounts.

    DESIRED: Flag/notification if a customer is a repeat customer.

    MUST: Ability to keep track of inventory, with notification points to let you know when inventory is low.

    MUST: Ability for you to change orders on the back end — I need to be able to make invoices for customers who don’t have computers (yes, some exist). I also need to be able to enter orders for customers who phone in their order and enter items sold at trade shows after the fact, both so I can keep track of inventory (my #1 weakness) and see what sells long term. Also, in case of errors of whatever nature, I need to be able to adjust customer invoices / orders after they’re ordered and paid. I’d not discontinued a couple items due to supplier shutdown this week. Folks ordered 6, I had 3 in stock. For this, I adjust the order/send notification/ask if there’s anything else they need and send a refund (presently, paypal) to make the account squared up.

    DESIRED: E check would be nice but not essential. I have an increasing number of folks who don’t use paypal.

    Can anyone help with the specialized coding to adapt eStore to do these things…or recommend another software/plugin that does them naturally?

    Thanks for the reply wzp. I already did this and they said they didn’t have time for the customization. Anyone have some ideas for me?
