eStore – Mobile not working?

Hello! I haven’t been able to find much info on Mobile compatibility, so I thought I’d post here.

There are quite a few customers who aren’t able to access the store on mobile. It works on my (newer) ipad, but not on my (old) iphone 4 – the shortcodes are just displayed as text.

Is this something that can be fixed, or are people with older mobile devices out of luck?

Have you confirmed the issue is related only to a particular model of iphone? Please provide a link, and instructions, on how to recreate the problem.

It doesn’t work on any phones that we’ve tried it on, including several iphones and an android device.

The problem: when you visit the store, you only see the shortcodes:

[wp_eStore_fancy1 id=19]

[wp_eStore_fancy1 id=2]

[wp_eStore_fancy1 id=18]

Etc.

Our plugins are fully responsive and mobile compatible.

It is very likely that you are using the very OLD method of using a separate plugin to handle a separate mobile site. If it doesn’t load the full plugin then the shortcodes can’t render.

You need to get rid of that old method and move to the new method of using a proper responsive theme that handles ALL devices.

Once you do that everything will start working fine.
