Hi
I’m testing eStore/eMember with a new site, join us page is http://109.73.162.26/join-us-3/. I’ve configured the product reference text id in eStore to match the appropriate membership level in eMember; the payment collection is by Subscription – Manual Payment, ie no PayPal or other payment gateway. The process seems to work fine, ie from the join us page the user can add to cart > complete the registration form* with an email being sent to buyer and seller to confirm the purchase. However nothing gets sent to eMember neither does the buyer receive an email with their membership login details.
* that said, I’m not sure where the fields on the manual payment form come from http://109.73.162.26/subscription-manual-payment/ – they’re not the ones I created in eMember.
I’ve viewed the video tutorials, checked the forum, but no joy.
Be grateful for your advice please.
Thanks
Chris
eMember is Version v7.6.3
eStore is Version v6.4.1
WordPress 3.3.2.

I have a feeling that you’ve most probably got the “Automatically Update Customer & Products Database” checkbox disabled. This checkbox can be found in the eStore Settings->General Payment Gateway Settings and then look in the “Manual Offline Checkout Settings”.
Due to the fact that you are using manual checkout, you might want to wait till your customer has paid the money and then manually make them a member which is what is happening because you have the above-mentioned checkbox disabled.
However if you want your customers to receive a “complete your registration” email immediately after submitting the manual checkout form, you can enable the “Automatically Update Customer & Products Database” checkbox. Just keep in mind that you might be giving access to a product before you’ve received the payment.
Otherwise you can just use paypal or one of the other payment gateways and you won’t have this problem.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I had (already) enabled that setting as I’d noticed that the eStore customer list wasn’t updating either when a client purchased a membership. So it’s not that, I’m afraid. Would it help if I provided some screenshots? I’d be happy to provide temp admin access to my installation but not sure if support extends to this?
Thanks again
Chris
May 25, 2012 at 1:20 pm #45473chrisflanMemberApologies….!! I was using an email address already on the system… hang my head in shame. Apologies once again
May 25, 2012 at 1:20 pm #45474chrisflanMemberJust to confirm. Once I used a new email address, the confirmation email was sent and the details appeared in eMember.
