Hi There,
I have successfully integrated PayPal with eStore so that people can subscribe to my newsletter and automatically get added to the membership site, using eMember.
After some customer demand, I now want to give people a Direct Debit option. Despite activating the ‘Use Multiple Payment Gateways’ and adding information to the ‘Manual / Off-line Checkout Settings’, the manual payment option does not appear when customers press the ‘subscribe’ button. Instead the link takes them straight to Paypal.
I am sure I am missing something – despite reading the manual payment guidelines I could find – so would appreciate your help.
In addition, my Direct Debit option – GoCardless.com – allows for deep integration using an API. Is this something that might be supported either as a system option or as a private work? Potentially it could be as smooth as the PayPal integration.
Thanks, as ever, for your support.
Cheers,
F.
Hi Francis, Handling offline/manual recurring payment is not something this plugin can do. A plugin is usually necessary to handle online/automated subscription handling. I am not sure what the plugin would need to do if you are going to be handling a recurring payment manually.
