I’m using WP eStore v 6.7.6 and generally everything has always worked fine.
I also use Cloudflare for my site at http://www.multichannelsurfer.com/store
Recently, I offered a coupon for $14.97 – basically a “Store credit.” Many of my products are only $9.97 so using the coupon results in a balance of $0.00. (None of my products are free, except by use of this coupon.)
My goal is for shoppers to get up to a $14.97 discount on their purchase, or get the item for free if it’s less. I prefer not to give the shopper the option for a manual checkout – unless the balance is $0.00.
I have “Use Multiple Payment Gateways” UN-checked.
I have “Redirect to Manual Checkout For Zero Amount Purchase” checked.
I have “Use PayPal Gateway” checked.
I have “Use Manual Payment Option” checked.
When I add a $9.97 product to the cart, and apply the coupon code (worth up to $14.97) I get the message “Discount applied successfully! Total Discount: $0.00.”
However, I’m not redirected to Manual Checkout. My only option is the PayPal button, which does not recognize the discount and still tries to charge me $9.97.
I’m not sure what to do to get the results I want.
Thanks in advance for your help.

July 4, 2012 at 12:11 am #46846IvyMemberCan you please try checking the “Use multiple payment gateways” and testing the coupon again.
Also can you send me a link to your page and a test coupon code so I can have a look at this.
July 4, 2012 at 5:51 pm #46847greenfuzMemberOk, I’ve checked “Use multiple payment gateways” and that does cause the Manual checkout option to appear. Unfortunately, I don’t want that option available unless using a coupon results in a zero (or negative) balance. (If that’s possible.)
My basic goal is to be able to give my newsletter readers a “Store credit” that they can use in my store.
The store page is at: http://www.multichannelsurfer.com/store and I created coupon code SAMPLE3 for testing.
Thanks!

Once again, I just want to offer loyal readers a “Store credit” that they can use in my store. If that credit results in a zero balance – that’s fine, but I’d like the eStore to handle the transaction if possible.
July 5, 2012 at 7:32 am #46849adminKeymasterYou should be able to do what you are after.
Are you using the auto discount feature also? What version of eStore are you using?
Looks like a bug got introduced with the fixed coupon logic. Let me investigate this and I will get back to you with an update.
July 6, 2012 at 5:16 am #46850adminKeymasterThere was a check in the coupon system that was preventing the price to go to $0 using a fixed coupon. I have removed that check so you should be able to do what you are after. Please get a new build of the plugin now to get this fix:
