Hello. I was wondering if you will ever add the ability to use live shipping rates with your eStore. I know that your store is more for downloaded products, but I think it would be an awesome feature to add. Even if you charged extra for a plugin that can take care of this. I’m sure many people would be open to paying some for an addon. Please let me know if this is a possibility.
Thanks for such a great product.
April 10, 2013 at 10:49 pm #54997adminKeymasterHi, Yeah we do have plans to develop an eStore addon to handle USPS and Fedex shipping rates.

July 24, 2014 at 5:05 pm #54999mhagenowMemberHi, I was wondering if eStore has the ability to send customers an automatic email, or an easier way of sending a shipping notification to a customer once their item ships. (If there was a customer database, and once an item ships, I could quickly check it off by the name and it would send them a “Your item has shipped” email.)
Or is there a way for a customer to login to my website, say to check the status of an order? (pending, shipped etc.)
I use paypal, and I know paypal automatically will send them a shipping notification when I print the label, but I also use authorize.net for taking credit card payments. I have to send these customers a manual email telling them their item shipped, and with the amount of orders I have, it would be much more convenient if there was a way for them to just be able to login and check the status of the order to see if it shipped.
Either way would make my work much easier.
My website is [www.metalstampedmemories.com]
Thanks

July 24, 2014 at 9:14 pm #55001mhagenowMemberYes I realize that but USPS.com does not offer first class labeling online which is very inconvenient.
It would be really convenient if a customer could login to an account on my website to check the status of an order. Is this possible or is there any plugin that works with eStore that can do this?
July 24, 2014 at 10:32 pm #55002mhagenowMemberAnother way of making shipping easier would be to allow importing orders into a shipping service such as stamps.com My issue is that I have to manually type in each person’s shipping information into USPS.com, and with the amount of orders I have to do, it is very time consuming.
Stamps.com works with other shopping carts; can this be done? Thank-you
July 28, 2014 at 12:41 am #55003adminKeymasterI am interested to look into doing an integration with stamps.com. Do you know if they have any documentation on their API? I looked at their site but didn’t see any link. Maybe they only offer documentation if you register?
July 28, 2014 at 1:24 am #55004mhagenowMemberhttp://developer.stamps.com/developer/ This is all I found. I think you would need to register.
July 31, 2014 at 4:45 pm #55005mhagenowMemberLet me know if doing an integration with stamps.com is something that you’d be interested in doing. I’m thinking of signing up with them. I know it would help me out tremendously with shipping and I think many of your customers would see it as a bonus of the eStore plugin. I would appreciate it.
August 1, 2014 at 4:24 am #55006adminKeymasterYes, we are very keen to do an integration for it. When I tried to create a developer account on their site, it said that their site is unavailable (I tried it for a couple of times in the last few hours). I will check their site tomorrow to see if they are back up.
August 1, 2014 at 4:47 pm #55007mhagenowMemberThat makes me very happy. Keep me posted- thank-you!
August 28, 2014 at 2:38 pm #55008mhagenowMemberJust wondering if any progress has been made on this. Thanks!
August 29, 2014 at 3:53 am #55009adminKeymasterWe looked more into their API and it looked like they only had the option to upload via file. So we sent them an email asking if we can pass/send the data via a URL request. We haven’t heard back from them yet.
