eStore – license keys = number of products remaining

Hi, for my site ebuddyuk.com I use the eStore plugin to send a game code when someone places an order, but when I enter the total number of products i have to manually enter how many of each code i have.

As obviously I will be getting more codes as I sell them the number will be constantly changing

Is there a way so that the plugin counts how many licence keys there are and defines that as the number of products. Currently I can only set the number of products as unlimited or a pre defined number..

Hi, No it doesn’t do that (there are few drawbacks). When you restock the license keys (add more keys to the product) you will need to update the “Remaining Copies” counter too. You can do it in bulk. Lets say you have 200 lincese keys to start with. As you sell the product and the number goes below 100, you can restock another 200 keys (this way you simply add 200 with the current available copy counter and update the number to that value).
