I have two products set up in my estore. I add one to shopping cart. It’s there. I add the second one to the shopping cart and the first one disappears. When I try to checkout I get:
“Your shopping cart is empty. Please add an item to your cart. You can load the checkout page and make sure the shopping cart is not empty.
If you are the admin of this site and you are certain that the shopping cart is not empty then the PHP Session on your server is not working correctly.”
I contacted my hosting provider who said that PHP session on my server was correct.
Other info: My main WP theme is Evermore [not sure if this makes a difference].

Thanks for your post, I worked through the steps listed in both links. Unfortunately it did not resolve my problem.
My hosting provider has advised me my PHP is corrected loaded and configured.
What should I try next?
December 2, 2013 at 10:16 pm #59339adminKeymasterHi, Can you please share the URL of the page where I can go and add products to the cart? I will be able to test it and tell you for sure (Hosting providers like to say that everything is fine).
December 2, 2013 at 10:33 pm #59340MorganaMemberThank you, that would be great. Agree re Hosting Providers.

December 3, 2013 at 12:10 am #59341adminKeymasterThank you. This site definitely has a PHP Session issue. Now, before going back to your provider lets eliminate the possibility that another plugin is not breaking it (a poorly coded plugin or theme can also break the PHP session functionality).
Can you please do the following test?
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/test-to-identy-a-conflicting-theme-or-plugin
Basically, switch to the default theme and turn off all plugins except eStore (just temporarily) then test the add to cart functionality.
December 3, 2013 at 10:51 am #59342MorganaMemberThe problem has turned out to be a conflicting plugin – simplegallery [a youtube gallery]. I have written to the coder and hopefully he will be able to help. Otherwise I will need to look for a new youtube plugin.
Thank you everyone for your help, appreciated.
