MemberHello all,
Hope you can point me in the right direction…
Running :
WP ver 3.8.1
WP eStore ver 7.0.7
site: [http://winneratlaw.com/store]
The eStore was working wonderfully after initial setup for several days. Thoroughly tested adding items, removing, re-adding, go to other pages, back to cart, checking out….all successful.
Today, I realized it no longer works properly. I can add items to cart properly, navigate to other pages, come back and items are still present.
Shopping cart appears at bottom of page.
However, upon hitting Checkout, we get this error :
>>>”
Your shopping cart is empty. Please add an item to your cart. You can load the checkout page and make sure the shopping cart is not empty.
If you are the admin of this site and you are certain that the shopping cart is not empty then the PHP Session on your server is not working correctly. ” <<<
My impression is that PHP on the server is working properly since the items stay in the cart.
I’ve tested on Firefox, Chrome and Opera… clearing all cache and restarting browser…all experienced the same issue. I’ve disabled ALL plugins except eStore with no change.
Where to go from here?
Thank you

SpectatorHi Celavi, please read the following URL related to PHP session (do the test mentioned there to see if you have a session issue).
Let us know if it helps you.
Kind regards

MemberHey guys,
Sorry, I meant to add that no caching plugin was used.
@mbr,
Yes, I did check out the page you provided… but I took another closer look at it, and then a couple clicks later found this page, which solved the problem.
Incorrect Server Setup related to URL ReWriting – Cause and Effect
So it seems this was a self-inflicted wound on the Settings page, as these values were changed recently and did not match. DUH!
