Tagged: squeeze form
I have tried using the squeeze form so that users can receive an email with an encrypted link to download a stamped pdf, but it has not worked since a couple of weeks. Before that, it worked perfectly and I haven’t touched any configuration, it just stopped working. What happens is that I fill in the squeeze form (name and e-mail) using the code: [wp_eStore_free_download_squeeze_form id = 4] and when clicking on the “download” button the only thing that happens is that the page is refreshed but the email is not sent to the user (nothing really happens). When I use a different squeeze form (the one that does not ask for any field -name or email-) that only has a download button it works perfectly and allows downloading the file stamped, but I need it stamped with the data retrieved from the user. what can I do to solve this?
It is likely that your hosting provider updated some server software (like the PHP version) and that is causing something to fail somewhere.
First make sure the PDF Stamping is still working on your site. So do a manual stamping of the file (the one used in that one squeeze form that is not working). Does the manual stamping work for it?
Thank you very much for answering. I didn’t reply early because I was looking for help in order to update the PHP version on my server, and once I did that everything is working perfectly now. The squeeze form is doing its job!. Thank you again. I hope my case could be helpful to others.
