Tagged: inventory control, sales count
I make almost all my products by copying and editing an existing one. If the copied product has sold, it keeps the sales count filled in and I always have to remember to expand and check that section. Do you think it should be reset to zero when a product is copied?
Another thing I noticed is that the product category almost always is removed when I copy a product. Since I usually copy a similar product to make a new one, this seems like it should be retained.
And again… batch editing for products would be really great!
When you clone/copy a product, it does a full clone. So everything should be exactly the same as the one it was copied from. However, I do understand what you are saying with the inventory count. I will make a change so the inventory count is reset on the copied product.
Thank you! I received your email.
