eStore – inventory control issue

I had a product with a quantity of 1.

Just now, two different customers ordered the product, taking the quantity to -1.

This has never happened before: usually when the quantity reaches 0 the product cannot be purchased (my interface disables the option).

Does anyone know how this has happened, and what I can do to prevent it happening again?

Did both of the sales come in around the same time? Did you by any chance had the debug option enabled in the settings?
