I posted this a few weeks again, and in the process of trying to find it I was only able to find it using the Google Search, and the link was invalid.
We occasionally get a payment come through on PayPal that is missing the shipping information. If we get the PayPal receipt and see that this information is missing, the process stops right there. No info is sent to emember to for registration and the customer is left in limbo. What we have been doing to circumvent the issue is to give the customer a coupon code for 100% off and they process payment manually. I have edited the IPN info as suggested previously, I have enabled alternate redirection, I have turned debug mode on. If there is no confirmed address in paypal, the info for that purchase doesn’t show up in the debug. This doesn’t happen all the time, the majority of purchases go through without a problem. Very randomly, we will get this happen. The couple people I spoke to that had this issue were trying to use a credit card to process payment and didn’t have a PayPal account.

Wait for a transaction like that to tell us the URL of your site so we can check the debug data.

May 9, 2014 at 1:20 am #62762adminKeymasterI understand that but I need to look at a transaction debug data when it happens. This is something that ONLY happens for your account so it is a little weird. Have you had one of those transactions so I can check?
It seems like you have a settings in your PayPal account that doesn’t send send IPN if there is not verified address. Do you remember doing any settings like that in your PayPal account? Anyway, I will know more when I can look at the debug data of one such transaction.
May 12, 2014 at 7:17 pm #62763absecllcSpectatorI found that option in my PayPal settings and it was turned off. I haven’t had an issue since last week. The last few transactions that came through processed as they were supposed to. I will update if this happens again.
