I would like to track when a visitor visits the site, adds items to the cart, then for whatever reason does not complete the sale. (ie abandon cart)

Is there any way to capture when a visitor leaves the site but hasn’t completed the sale and / or clicked Checkout with PayPal but did not complete the sale?

I have searched the forum and help but could not find a way to accomplish this.

    Thanks!

Here is a simple method of doing this (it may not be 100% accurate but it will give you a good idea and estimated numbers).

Step 1) Create a specific checkout page and use eStore auto redirect to checkout page feautre. The following post explains how to create a specific checkout page:

    https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/how-to-create-a-specific-checkout-page-for-estore

Step 2) Also, create a “Thank you” page if you don’t have one already. The following documentation will explain how to create a thank you page:

Step 3) Now, just look up your stats (google analytics or any other stats software that you are using).

You will be able to see how many users went to your “Checkout” page (these are the users who added items to the cart)

You will also be able to see how many went to your “Thank you” page (these are the users who completed the checkout).

Using those numbers you will be able to work out other numbers that you want.
